This is great, really gritty. Read the ch2&3 back-to-back and apart for some minor repetition (apparently voices come out only sharp as seax) and the double-take on Odd’s entrance to his home (different from ch1 to 2) this has a very distinctive, peaty, soiled tone that gets under your nails. Can’t wait for the next chapter!
